Hey i was wondering if my name is down for a council house am i entitled to rent allowance or do i still need to be renting for 6 months before i can apply?:)

First thing Go down to your County Council/Corporation office and get on that list. You will need a revenue check as well. I know cos I am process as well. Then you can apply for Rent allowance.
