Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I have a simmental cow, she is 14 years old and she is a milker, I do get her in calf to holstein, she does have calves the same colour as herself - a beige/brown colour.
    The person selling those animals did not say what kind of cow they were out of or what bull was used.

    I got a totally blackholstein friesian this year, I found KXV gives a lot of black in his calves. I have a cow with a lot of black and she managed to give a pure black calf, really surprised me.

    I have some montbeliardes, cross them with a friesian whether holstein or British and you can get white head friesians.

    The thing is they could very well be holstein friesians, you don't know what kind of cross breeding or what kind of cow they came from.
