Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi all
ive a few (3-4 ) year old bulls that im rearing for beef. i dont have the know how or houses to fininish them or handle bulls so i plan to squeeze, then rear to 22 or so months and sell them for finishing in the mart.
would squeezing them at 12-14 mths set them back too much or should i try to sell them as bulls in july or so and buy weanlings and start again ?
    thanks

We've squeezed them at all ages. Squeeze them when you are letting them out to grass. Set back will be minimal. They'I be sound ;) Alot of lads sell on bulls because they're not able or can't get anyone to squeeze them.

Definately agree, when letting them out get the job done, got 50 here around 12 mths with a whole lot of pain coming their way one of these days:eek:

It is important that they are up to date on the Tetanus shots.

OP if you are in SCWS you will have to get a vet to do them, also don't run them with heifers for about a month after it as they can still do damage. Rubber ring might work better than a burdezzo, but haven't used rings myself:eek:

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.
