HTC Wildfire can see other wireless networks but not mine

I'm using Eircom broadband with a Netopia modem. Strangely, the phone has worked fine on this modem before. Now when I scan for networks I can see the neighbours but not my own.

My laptop works fine on this wireless network.

Any ideas where to start looking for a solution?

    Any weird channel settings?
    Is SSID hidden?
Doublecheck settings on 192.168.1.254 or eventually try resetting your Netopia.
If you rule out the box then you can focus on the phone.

Everything checks out ok from what I can tell.

SSID is broadcast. I've tried changing the name, my encryption type, adding a second SSID, a few things like that to no avail.

Will I lose my Eircom settings if I reset the Netopia?

Hi, sorry I didn't reply sooner, been out of the country.

Changed channel from #6 to #1 and now it works like a charm.

    Thanks for your help!
