Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Need BMW wheel nuts

I bought a 530D with M5 alloys last year. The security nut broke up and I need either to replace it or fit a regular one. The existing nuts are longer than the nuts I tried. Anybody know where I can get a set of the longer nuts?

    Thanks
    T

Best get OEM ones, BMW have a 140 Nm (14000 Ncm :) ) or 103 foot pounds torque value on their wheel bolts and ebay rubbish will sheer at these levels

Keep the shorter nuts too, they're probably for your space saver spare wheel (if you have one).

That can't be right? 140 Nm[Newton Meter] is it? Just for future reference in case someone looked it up here who didn't know any better. Best to get OEM ones though, serious amount of cheap crap on ebay.

BMW don't do the longer custom nuts, I was told. The longer nuts came with the M5 wheels but these were bought in the UK (not by me).

I will go to BW for the OEM nuts as I have a set of original wheels also which I might throw on in the future.

So, right now I need the longer custom nuts. Anybody?

    Thanks
