Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Undeserved equaliser, should be 3 up.

    Great goal though.

Carra might as well have shanked the ball into his own net there for all his "defending" was worth

And that right there is the reason Liverpools replacement centre half should not be a 34 year old with no pace , i dont care how much he "knows" Liverpool .

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,434 ✭✭✭Lamper.sffc

has suarez hit the post more times than he has scored this season I wonder.
    Dived for the peno aswell

Fantastic ball in by Sagna for the goal, RVP couldn't miss! Completely against the run of play though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,037 ✭✭✭✭niallo27

IIRC, Santry isn't a fan of any team?

Oh alright, he is just talking ****e so.

Dont see how pace played any part either.

Rosicky turned his back to the ball again there instead of going in to block tyhe shot.

Looked like carra could have done a lot more.

How many angles do you need to show that there was no contact? It was clear as day.

Disgusting tackle there. Oh wait, it's Spearing, he's not that kind of player.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Little Jay Spearing, bend over you're a naughty boy. (some tidy passing though)

Halsey can't spot a free from 1 yard away?

How did the ref not see that?

    Is the ref blind today?

"disgusting" Lets not go overboard with the dramatics, eh dear.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,507 ✭✭✭clubberlang12

Is this ref actually blind or is there something else that impairs his vision? 6 yards away from that "tackle".

Magic from Suarez that. Good save.

Dont see how pace played any part either.

Carragher was caught on the wrong sie of Van Persie , when he sees the cross about to come in he should react and get on the right side of him , pace & acceleration plays a huge role in this.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,280 ✭✭✭Glico Man

Fcuking hell, some player... when he's not diving

Great save all the same from Woz

"disgusting" Lets not go overboard with the dramatics, eh dear.

He went straight into Rosicky's leg a good foot off the ground. Accidental I suppose.

Someone should just clear Suarez out of it in the box. They're ****ting themselves to go near him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,508 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Crinklewood

Mad that you hear the instructions from the bench.

    Great cross from Downing.

    Wonderful movement but no goal.

Liverpool really should be winning this game.

Suarez is awful in front of goal.
Brilliant skill to get there though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

That was ridiculous from Suarez. And Szczesny too for that matter.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,662 ✭✭✭Luckycharms_74

World class skill from Suarez. We could be 3 up by now but for great goalkeeping. Let's hope we can finish the game off in 2nd half

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,403 ✭✭✭✭LuckyLloyd

Ah **** it, I don't care. What's the point? We'll beat them up and down the park and still lose and then be told that Arsenal actually "deserved" it.

Carving them up and not having it reflected on the score board is so annoying. Too many times this year.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,537 ✭✭✭joseph brand

We've done a good job of closing down Arsenal players and winning the ball back. Some nice passing moves.

Suarez doing his Messi impersonation there, dribbling round the Arsenal box. Would've been a fantastic goal. Weak shot, pity.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,538 ✭✭✭PiE

Tis a pity we can't score for sh*t as we're playing some very nice football.

To be fair though, its not down to bad finishing really. Szczensy has been outstanding. But so have a lot of goalies that have come to Anfield this year.

What has happened to Enrique? Seemed decent a while back, now a liability.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 15,694 Mod ✭✭✭✭dfx-

Arsenal look comfortable in normal play or whenever Adam goes near the ball. Huge gaps open up like for Henderson and Downing for the goal. Shocking defending by Carragher for the equaliser..

Not a chance it was a penalty.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

This game should be dead and buried. Its depressing how chronic we are in front of goal. Arsenal had one chance and a half chance and only a good save from Reina stops them from having scored two.

    Woefully nonclinical.

    Wish Bellamy were out there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,193 ✭✭✭✭Kerrydude1981

How does Downing keep getting a game each week for Pool? Is he only one capable of playing on the left wing? Bellamy could surely do a better job there even if he isnt an out and out winger

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,225 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

Adam trying and failing to channel Messi there.
