TWO MEN HAVE been found guilty of robbing a Malaysian student in London who was targeted by a group of youths who pretended to assist him while stealing from his backpack.

Ashraf Rossli, 20, was struck and injured during the riot in London on 8 August. Footage of the attack shows a stunned Rossli on the ground as a group of several youths approaches and helps him to his feet.
However, they proceeded to steal items from his bag while pretending to be reassure and assist him.

When i first saw that clip on you tube i was stunned and my heart went out to the lad getting mugged,hope the two scumbags gets what coming to them throw away the key would be better.

Having never been in prison I couldn't even begin to know what 'hard' time is I just hope they get it!

They got hefty Jail terms today.

Donovan, of Chadwell Heath, East London, was sentenced to a total of five years for robbery, violent disorder and burglary offences at Wood Green Crown Court, Scotland Yard said.

Kafunda, of Ilford, East London, was sentenced to three and a half years for robbery and nine months for violent disorder, to run consecutively, the force added.

Yes but don't forget, in Ireland they probably would have got 6-9 months at best. But 'community' service would probably be the most likely outcome here.
