Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Black smoke and loss of power

    I am sorry if I am in the wrong section My Mate has a Renault Kangoo putting out black smoke sometimes with a loss of power just for a couple of seconds he has changed the ERG valve and also put in a second hand Turbo someone was telling him it might be the Exhuast can anyone help as his is losing the plot at this stage.:confused:

    check vacuum hoses, might air leaking.

    I would be taking it to a garage with proper diagnostic equipment and not be forking out money on random parts on the hope of fixing it..

    Thanks Corkie it's been in three garages it's them telling him it's a Turbo then the ERG valve and so on jusy costing so much money that he won't gat back Thanks.

    See if any of the pipes going into the turbo have come loose first. Could be a simple fix.
