It will be stopped at 64, in the unlikely event that many enter.

Will it be a 5 or 6 round thing? i.e.... It's knockout and if you lose your out. So if there is 64 then 6 rounds and if there's 32 then 5 rounds. But what happens if there is say... 46? How will we get it down to 32? Worst 14 scores knocked out?

It will be knockout. I did mention earlier that the knock out rounds will start with either 32 or 64 players as this is the most straightforward way to get down to 1.

If say 46 enter then this week will be a qualifying round and the top 32 scores from this week will get through to the knockout stage.

In the unlikely event there are 64 entrants then I'll stop accepting new entrants and go straight in with a knockout round this weekend.

I played in a 32 team "World Cup" style competition earlier this season, which worked really well as it meant everyone got at least 3 head to head ties, instead of half of the entrants being out after Week 1. There is still time to run this format with 64 teams if you were interested.

The 64 teams were assigned seeds based on overall rank (this could also be done via a qualifying round) and then assigned countries (for a bit of banter), based on FIFA rank, i.e. No. 1 seed got Spain, No. 2 Netherlands, etc.

The teams were then drawn from seeded pots into pools and everyone played 3 head to head ties (points were deducted for hits). The top two teams qualified and then it went to standard knockout...

As expected, some distance from 64 entries so this gameweek will be a qualifying round. As there's no draw to be made, I'll leave entries open till kickoff in the first match (12.45)
