Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wed 14th March - Boardwalk and Temple Bar

    I am thinking of:
    Time: 7pm
    Date: Wednesday 14th March
Start: O’Connell Statue on O’Connell St (see image) oconnellstatue76x.jpg
Direction: Going down the ‘Boardwalk’ from O’Connell St, past the Ha’penny bridge and down to Millennium Bridge. Cross over to Temple Bar and start heading back towards Westmorland St (the main road leading to O‘Connell Bridge) while doing some street photography - and watching John work his magic! :)

    Who is welcome?
Everybody! Even if you have a Point & Shoot or a film camera, are an amateur or Pro. Everybody is welcome.
You will need a tripod, if you don't have one then say so here and someone may have a spare for you.

Register your interest here and I will DM you my mobile num nearer the date.
Mention what camera you have and somebody might bring a spare lens for you to try.

2 emails thanking for their photos taken on last photowalk at Christchurch.

Hey, it's Ludivine, the french girl who took a picture 1 week ago, it's to say thanks for the photo, it's nice and it's a great souvenir to our travel to Dublin !
It's me who answer you because my mother is bad in english so I do that !
So.. Bye, see you soon !

    Hi John,
Thank you so much for the photo I really appreciate it.
    Regards,
    Cindy Richards

Any watering hole planned for this Will *cough Porterhouse Cough cough*

  • Registered Users Posts: 424 ✭✭SinisterDexter

Just to clarify. I was being nice to you John, I am always amazed how you get the women to stop.

As for a watering hole. I never state one, it's up to others to suggest where we should end up - heading the wrong direction for The Porterhouse Temple Bar.... but the right direction for Porterhouse Central - just so your not confusing your directions like! :P

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,561 ✭✭✭andy_g

Me confused never ;) if the porterhouse central has fruli im happy

Had a really enjoyable night. Was great to meet everyone. Big thanks to Will for organising the night and making sure I was getting the right bus home! The hot whiskeys were a welcome addition, I assume they'll become a regular feature?! Hopefully that was the first of many photowalks for me!

@zeptar - the top one with the word Electric on the wall came out really good, the light trails themselves almost look like a kind of electricity, its a real eye catcher.
