Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Would you consider traveling on your own?

Don't know about Dubai (though from what I've heard it's a bit sh1t) but the other two would be relatively safe places to travel in, travelling solo would be absolutely fine. Good backpacker community in many places around Oz so you should have fun. Just go for it really.

When I got my full motorbike licence, I celebrated by taking the ferry to France and driving around for a week. Best week of my life! Stayed in a different place every night. People were really helpful, coming up to comment on the bike. French children seemed to adore motorbikes (as most kids do) so when I'd pass through a town, they'd all wave at me! Oh it warms the cockles just thinking about it.

    Yep. It's fantastic. :)

If you don't have anyone to travel with and don't wanna travel solo, try some of these out.

Go for it! I've done it and would do so again. You'll meet loads of people to hang out with if you like and yet you're still free to do what you like whenever you like. It's a great experience! :-)

I know several lads (no girls) that have gone on round the world trips on their own...
I couldn't do it... While I haven't travelled extensively I've been away for plenty of 3-4 week business trips on my own and hated it... I like to have some one like-minded there to share the trip with..

It really just depends on your own personality really OP..

I've done it by myself, but I was fairly useless at it. Got to the stage (in all of 3 days) where I hadn't spoken to anyone in so long I was unable to speak to anyone. Depends on your personality I guess OP.
