Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We are going to book it next week anyways!
Quick question if you dont mind me asking..did you get vaccinations when you went?

no of course you dont need vaccinations for sharm el sheikh, its a tourist resort that caters for westerners and adapts pretty much the same levels of hygiene that most southern european resorts do.

im sure you dont need them for the rest of egypt either
theres a lot of scaremongering around about getting sick while in egypt due to hygiene standards but we had no issues. just dont drink tap water, or have ice cubes in your drinks, and try not swallow gulps of water when in the shower and youll be fine

some people say you can get sick from brushing your teeth with tap water but that was not an issue, just keep your hands clean and maybe bring some of that hand sterilizer with you to rub on from time to time if youre going to be extra cautious.

best of luck, i wish i was going back. absolutely love the place. try and do a day trip out to the tiran islands for snorkelling, its absolutely fascinating.
