    Im looking to find a room for about 3 months in Dublin but most of the ads on daft specify 6 months+. Would people be open to negotiation on this and if not what other options woiuld I have?

    You might well find someone willing to rent you a room under the rent a room scheme, (or that principle) rather than go with some form of tenancy.
