I am not sure was my age the wrong one or I did the test not as good as others. Any advice?

An employer is perfectly entitled to know your age when seeking employment.

Although it is now common for commercial enterprises (at least) not to ask the ages of candidates so that they don't get what they would see as potentially frivolous complaints for age discrimination. (Clearly, at interview, the age issue may be ascertained.)
