University Darts Teams/Masters weekend in Cork

    Just a quick post lads!

    College Teams event and Masters individual tournament held in UCC Cork this weekend (more darts in cork last weekend!) and 11 teams across 5 colleges competed for the Teams event.

    Semi Finals - Best of 11 legs 1001

    NUIG-B (Stiofan de Lundres O'Dalaigh and Luke McGrath) 6-3 GMIT-B (David Cunningham and Kevin Devaney)

    ITT Dublin (Keith Kilduff, Neil McDonald and Eugene McArdle Junior) 6-1 UCC-D (Colm Carroll and Tomas Faller)

    3rd Place Shared between GMIT/UCC.

    Final - Best of 13 legs 1001


    ITT Dublin 7-4 NUIG-B --- UDAI Teams Champions 2012 ITT Dublin!

    Highlights being 88 checkout by Kilduff (5, T17, D16)
    71 checkout by McArdle (13, 18, D20)
    And finally, most important of all, a 125 to win the title by McDonald (T18, T17, D20!)

    2012 Masters Individual title

    Semi Finals - Best of 5 legs 501

    Anthony Cox (IT Carlow) 3-2 David Cunningham (GMIT)

    Eugene McArdle (ITT Dublin) 3-2 Keith Kilduff (ITT Dublin) - McArdle 99 checkout to win. (T3, Bull, Tops!)

    3rd Place also shared between Cunningham and Kilduff.

    Final - Best of 3 sets, 5 legs 501 to a set.

    2-0 Eugene McArdle (3-0, 3-0) -- Masters Champion 2012 Anthony Cox!
