    Hi all,
I am a final year engineering mature student hoping to move back to San Francisco with my wife next year.
I have heard that both "Revit" and "IES" software are mandatory if you want a job in design there, is this true?. I would have no problem learning these packages but they are exhorbitantly priced here in Dublin.
Also has anyone out there sat the EIT exam upon starting employment in the U.S and how intense is it?.
Any other advice to prepare me for the transition would be grately recieved.

    Thanks.
