Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I read that you can change the language on an iPhone to Irish, but I can't find that option on mine. Anyone know?

    Where did you read that?

Irish isn't listed as one of the languages in Settings > General > International > Language

Nor is it listed as a supported language on Apple's iPhone Specs (scroll down to Languages section):

You can't (AFAIK) change the language on a non-jailbroken iPhone. However, you can go a bit of the way by changing the dates on calendar & clock. That's all it does but it's a bit of a conversation topic when others see my phone.

    Try here: Settings> General> International> Region Format> Irish (Ireland)

And when its set to the Irish region format you can enter fada'd characters by pressing and holding the appropriate letter until the option appears. Is that what you were looking for OP? Or do you mean all text in the OS being in Irish?

You can, of course. Mine has been this way since day one.

    Simply go to general/international/region format.

Choose Irish (Ireland). You will get everything like calendar dates etc., in Irish. However the system language will remain British English. Like the Mac, only certain options will actually appear in Irish.

Bernard Dunne said it on Twitter.

Got the calendar etc. changed, thanks.
