Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

After watching someone talking about last meals on death row on tv last night, I was thinking, what would my last meal be? I think it would have to be Roast chicken, roast potatoes, chips, gravy and stuffing, yummmm! or chicken fried rice, crispy shredded chicken and curry. you?

Hate to piss on your picnic, but from what I've read about the grisly rituals that surround the execution of a suitably poor, black or brown, intellectually challenged minority of convicted murderers in the USA, it is highly unlikely that you would get wine or indeed anything spectacular in the way of food.:)

That is because there is a budget - a relatively modest amount usually a good lot less than $20 - for a prisoner's last meal. It may cost the state millions to keep a prisoner incarcerated for all the years it takes to go through the appeals process, but it seems the pennies really count and have to be spared when the last meal is served.

That's why I never economise too much on food and go for quality rather than quantity. After all, every meal I - and you - eat could well be the last even though we're as free as birds.:D

I'll never understand some folks fixation with dominos 'pizzas'

Their stuff is Mass manufactured, processed shyte tbh!

If your looking proper pizza, much better to get it from your local chipper for example.

I know our local chipper does pizzas, that when you ask for chicken out bacon etc, that's what you get on top! Chicken = big chunks of fresh, chicken filetts, and bacon = rashers!

The mass produced stuff can't compare one bit!

    Anyways,

For my last meal, it would have to be.......

Sikh Kebabs and veg samosas for starters

Chicken Jalfrezi, cooked medium-spicy with pilau rice

Garlic, onion, and coriander naan on the side.

couple of cans (bottles don't compare) of ice cold, coke.

Tub of Ben and Jerrys phish food ice cream for desert.

after eating that, I'd go to meet my maker, as one happy man!

    Sumandari Badsha Jalfrezi

Lobster tails simmered with peppers, onions and spiced with garlic and ginger. Garnished with coriander, spring onion, fresh ginger and tomato. Served with prawn fried rice.

If above not available - mild curry super noodles with a bit of cheese and cayenne pepper will do grand
