folks, can we at least see how tol et al play before we start criticising...

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,636 ✭✭✭✭Tox56

Why with the childish "I Told you so" attitude whenever somebody criticised does well?

    Just be happy, geez.

Jesus Christ, Tomas O Leary WTF??

Why he is ever wearing an Irish shirt again I don't understand.

Has Kidney not learnt his lesson. TOL is not a scrumhalf!

This isn't a Leinster / Munster thing btw. Just that TOL is an absolute failure at scrumhalf, so why the hell Kidney has him on the pitch is beyond ridiculous.

Does Kidney want to give Scotland another chance or something?

Watch certain people masturbate furiously over that now.

Why would you watch people masturbate. Eeewwh.

(Unless there are attractive female POM fans here)

ROG, TOL and Cronin. Sexton to centre. Thats a lot of changes at once.
DK seen we were starting to throw the ball around and wasn't having any of it.

We're now fielding easily the worst halfback combo in the tournament.

O'Leary is capable of making any OH look shocking, so I wouldn't be too upset at that tbh.

ROG is captain with Best off?
I guess that's what his latest whine in the papers got him. :p

I haven't been able to watch the entire game, so maybe it's just the snippets I've watched that seem to be biasing it but is the ref having a howler?

Agh! That looked really sore. Hope he's alright.

Ireland seemed to have lost their shape a bit even before the substitutions.

Jesus that looked bad. Nothing serious I hope.

It was the whiplash that knocked Jones out I'd say.

Looks like he was out before he hit the ground

Accidental clash of heads or not...trimble should be carded for that.
He went at the ball carrier and took him out whether intentional or not.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,008 ✭✭✭leakyboots

Seeing those tries, Kearney literally ran away from Gray. Some poor tackles before that too... but still... Fullback Play 101 - tackle the guy with the ball running at you, doesn't matter if he has 10 men outside him.

Ryan and POM are both playing brilliantly. Great to see.
Isn't it great to see young men coming in and giving it a real go. POM has been solid but Ryan has been immense.

    Tackles has all the responsibility.
Trimble went for the tackle and accidentally hit him head to head.
Thats trimbles fault accident or not.

You contradicted yourself there...it was an accident jones put the head down as trimble was making the tackle

Ryan has just carried in the form he's had all season. Should have been there from the very start in DOC's place.

    High tackles are usually accidental.
People dont aim high they just rise up yet its still a penalty.

Disagree on the ducking down but will look at it when I see it again

    Look at it this way.

As the person attempting to make the tackle you must not endanger the ball carrier.

In my opinion Trimble has accidentally made head to head contact and as such should be penalised. Accidents are not exempt from the laws.
