Who writes the leaving cert?

I've just been looking around the Internet and couldn't come up with an answer to this question. Does anyone know who writes the exams? Im aware the state examinations commission effectively distributes the exams, but who is actually tasked with doing up the examinations? Is it just one person, a bored of people, teachers…

The SEC is responsible for all of it.

Chapter 1 of this document (on their website) should tell you all you want to know:
