well for the last three years Iv had cancer cells on the neck of my womb-cervix. this year they progressed a grade but they dont want to treat me because Im only going on 24. I asked the specialist I see every three to six months if I can still TTC and he said they can work with the fertility clinic which are in the same hospital. problem is my fertility specialist said she wants me in the all clear which might not happen for long time yet.

    has anyone else had this?
both specialists say different (although fertility specialist told me I didnt look like someone with PCOS and wasnt looking at my chart during my last visit so I hold very little faith in her)

CIN 2 are not cancer cells.

You've had CIN for three years. Next time at your checkup you should ask the doctor to explain to you what it is you have.

they say very little but fertility specialist said they were cancer cells hence confusion

Why would she or he have said they were cancer cells when they are not.
    They are PREmalignant cell changes.

I think you should ask the specialist or your GP for clarity at your next appointment.

Maybe you should ring your GP and have a chat with them.

    Because:
    - If it is cancer cells then you should find out what is the specific treatment plan (and why is it not being treated )
    or
    - if it is not cancer cells (I.e. It is CIN2) then you should not be saying you have cancer cells (very mean to people who actually do have cancer!!!)

I have had this 3 times(CIN 2) - the solution in most cases is a diagnoses done by an abnormal smear (2 are normally taken), then a colposcopy a form of biospy - pending the cin level you are 1,2 or 3 you may get the letz treatment.

Just to be clear these cells are pre-cancerous and are removed as prevention and precaution.

I asked while I was having the treatments done (mine was right in the inner neck of my cervix) could this affect fertility and was told no - you can even have the colposcopy whilst pregnant

I had a abnormal pap smear back when I was 22.I had moved to the states by the time the results came through so my family doctor advised my mother of the results and told her that I needed to get treated asap.Luckily I found a great womans clinic in sanfrancisco. They did there own pap smear and colposcopy and after 3 weeks I had the letz or LEEP as it's known there.I was stage 4 pre-cancerous cells. Not cancer but if left untreated could turn to cancer.I have no idea why they would tell you you are too young. This is suppose to be a prevention of cancer which could develop in say 5-20 years.I went on to have a perfect pregnancy and was 9 days overdue with my daughter so cervix is still strong and healthy after the letz.Sometimes it can leave the cervix weak and prone to premature labour.
If you are going through with fertility tests of help I would push for this beforehand.Cells change during pregnancy and why not start off with a clean pap smear.Mine have all come back good since letz in 2003.

And I clearly gave you advice that you need to discuss with a doctor to see if you have cancer cells or not.

You said what I shouldnt be saying that its mean thats not advice. as I said I only wanted advice

I gave you lots and lots of advice through all my posts about CIN2. I posted a wiki link for you. The two other posters also you advice also.

You are picking up on one small thing that I said amongst a lot of advices.
But I also stand over it: IF you don't have cancer cells it is not right that you are saying you do.
But I also gave you advice that you should ring your doctor because if you do have cancer cells you should be discussing your treatment.

I don't know if you have rang a doctor yet. But for the reasons I have stated, in my opinion you need to discuss with a doctor to get clarity for yourself.
Best of luck to you, I hope you get the information you need in relation to the CIN plus your questions re ttc.
