Please help this little girl by supporting or taking part in any of the events listed or by donating online.

    I will be running/walking/crawling the 10k.

    Thank you.
A page has been setup to help and support Ellen Barron McGee who needs life saving treatment for a rare genetic illness.

On the week of 22nd-24th March, we are organising a fundraising weekend in aid of the Ellen Barron Mc Gee Fund. Baby Ellen is just 10 months old at the moment, she has a Mitochondrial Disorder, her twin does not have this condition.

For little Ellen this is a life threathening condition, If she doesnt receive stem cell treatment very soon in the US, she probably wont see 18 months. This will cost in excess of $60,000 USD, and further costs are unknown. She is scheduled to travel and have this treatment in April of this year.

Ellen is the precious daughter of Lisa Mc Gee form Ashling Park, Dundalk and Tom Barron from Dublin, and they reside in Portlaoise, Co. Laois. As most of you already know, Lisa and Tom lost their son Christian aged 18 months nearly 10 years to the same condition.........Stem Cell surgery was unheard of at that time so Christian wasnt given this chance of survival, and we need to do everything in our power to make sure baby Ellen is given that chance!

We are organising a theme night, a ladies night with a fashion show and a shave or dye night, a huge fun day for kids, bag packing in our local supermarkets, gardai vs army football game, and also been organised is a 10k run Fundraiser Charity.

And news just in, we will be holding A Night At The Races, date to be confirmed by the end of the week, but we're hoping on Saturday 31st March.

Time is not on our hands right now, so we need donations or any kind of assistance asap.
We hope to have this plight broadcast in the national daily papers and on 2fm radio by the end of next week.

A bank account has been opened especially for this fund, and the details are as follows.
    Bank Of Ireland Portlaoise
In the name of: Lisa and Tom Barron ref Ellen
    Account Number: 94295961
    Sort Code: 90-18-88.

As you can imagine, any help towards this cause be gratefully appreciated.

    Please pray for her recovery.

    Thank you
