Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Daughter's gadget has following note on the screen.

    iPOD is disabled
    try again in 22,124,670 minutes

    Can anybody help me to open it for her?

    Power off
    Plug into computer while holding in the home home button until the restore logo appears, it will then restore in itunes
    Or wait out the 22million minutes ;)

    OK tried it your way Cathal - didn't work and 42 yrs is a long time to wait lol

    She can't remember her password SP.

    We're down to 22,124,526 now :rolleyes:

    Put it into DFU mode and restore it in itunes.

    How to enter DFU mode:

    This will solve nearly any software problems on ipod touchs.

    sorry had to go there - tried that restore again Cathal and left it work away. Seems to be going again now, just waiting for it to set up a new Apple ID now. And we're sorted.

    theres no need to set up a new apple id, just sign in with the old one
