    Hey guys.

What cables would I need to connect my 360 to my TV to display it in HD?

    HDMI or Composite cables

Any basic HDMI cable will do it. Your xBox should have a slot on the back for it.

If it's an old model and it doesn't, then you can buy a specialised cable in most game shops.

Thanks. I have the slim version, so it has the connection ports.

So would any cheap cable from online do? Anyone recommend any places they have bought one from?

I'm using one from the €2 shops, no problems with it.

    HDMI or Composite cables

Think that should be Component - composite is for CRT TVs and won't display in HD

did it come with any cables? HDMI or Component is the way to go. you can use VGA too but from my experiences, its fiddy and the picture quality isn't as good.

I came with the standard AV cable, the one with the white, red and yellow connectors.

if that is exactly what you have, that is composite, which is crap. If your xbox has a hdmi port(older models didnt have one), its probably best you get a dirt cheap HDMI cable that will do the job much the same as any of the expensive ones

I got a HDMI cable this morning in town for €5, some difference in picture quality. Battlefield 3 looks amazing :D

Thanks for all your help lads, cheers.
