Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi guys trying to find a salon pretty close to o'connell street for a bikini wax. Getting it hard to find somewhere as I'm not familiar with Dublin. I want somewhere reputable and easy on my purse!

Urbana and Brazilia are meant to be great, never been to either of them though.

Waxperts in Dun Laoghaire is meant to be fantastic as well, but Dun Laoghaire is a good but outside of Dublin city. I think I heard before it's about 40mins on the bus from Dublin city out to Dun Laoghaire.

Thanks a mil for your reply. I done a search on the boards before I started the thread and saw great reviews for both these places. Unfortunately I'm not too familiar with Dublin and will only be in the city on Friday for an hour or two and will have a suitcase with me so don't want to lug that round trying to find places!! I've seen Neelu at Arnotts online and Theripie on Henry St however can't find any info on either re waxing. Has anyone been or heard anything?

Brazilia is great, I'd definitely recommend there. I've never gotten waxed in Urbana, although I did get a spray tan done there and was pleased.

I go to a woman just outside the city centre now in Rathmines, and she charges €35 for a Hollywood. She does it from home. Although that's probably not where you want to lug a suitcase to, to be honest.

mysteries1984 Would you mind sending me / posting here the contact details for the lady in Rathmines? I've just moved here from London and the salon waxing prices are eyewatering!

    Thanks very much

Velvet Beauty on Bachelor's Walk is very good. I've been there a few times. I second the lady in Rathmines, best I've ever been to and I've been going a good few years now.

I would agree with other posters that Brazilia is great for waxing though
I find at lunchtimes and evening times it's hard to get an appointment unless you book well in advance. It might also be a
Little bit of a trek when you have a suitcase.
I can't think of any place near oconnell street though I think Clerys or arnotts ( or maybe both) do waxing
