Becoming an Avocat.

I'm in first year studying Law with Arts (French and German) and i'm really interested in working in France but not to sure how it would work with my Irish law degree.

Any info would be appreciated.

Bear in mind that someone with fluent english and a French law degree would still want to work for a few years in an Irish firm before addressing the court, so presumably the same applies to you.

So the first step for you would be to move to France and get a job as a legal exec and look into it more from there. Maybe a summer job or two?
