Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Guys, We hav a cow with mastitis in one quarter. If we treat tat quarter with a mastitis tube, would it be safe to let the other 3 quarters of milk into the tank for the creamery.

No. The antibiotics (most of them) will travel to the blood and end up in the non treated quarters. You can try it, i know of some who do and get away with it but at the very least do an inhibator teat with your purchaser before you do sent it. It says quite clearly on the withdrawls that milk for human consumption can only be taken from xx hours since last treatment.

You could get a nice bill from the creamery if you put milk after tubes into the lorry, - they could charge you for the whole tank of milk
