Kitchen remodeling

I am remodeling the kitchen at home and was wondering if anyone out there have any ideas on splashbacks. We have a small budget and at first wanted to go with the Ikea splash back set but have not found the color that we want. I was thinking about glass but have a feeling that will cost both my arms and legs.

We live in the normal 3 bed end terrace house and have a small but perfect kitchen. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on where we could get a good quality white or green spalsh back in a laminate.

Why not just use tiles? We got a shiny black tile in homebase

They come in white , red and cream too, the staggered effect makes a really nice feature, then we just went one tile high around the worktop

Not sure if I'm asking in the right place (new to boards) but... has anyone tried the new Ikea glass splash-back?

I'm just wondering if anyone knows whether it's white or clear glass - impossible to tell on website? Also is this easy to fit or is cutting it (for sockets etc) a nightmare?
