    MATT BALDWIN
Oakland, California's Matt Baldwin is a far out guitar traveler. On his first album Paths of Ignition he took a wasted psychedelic approach to folk guitar and more recently, on his second album Night in The Triangle, harnessed the power of the electronic guitar to reach new psychedelic depths, recalling Manuel Göttsching & Terry Riley playing the 21st Century blues. Minimalist Krautrock blues if you will.

"This so-called folkie Matt Baldwin druid is nothing less than a one-man Heavy Metal Band, a Stormin’ Norman raging liquid fire across the deserts of the first Gulf war, a flame thrower-wielding storm trooper at the gates of Moskva, fighting for his life and surrounded by scores of belligerent Russkies with starving huskies, each waiting to pounce on his meaty butt were he not more slithery than a bag full of KY’d cobras. A highly amphetamined and para-military Nick Drake filtered through K. Stockhausen’s ring modulator, maybe." - Julian Cope

    CIAN NUGENT

Cian Nugent is a guitar player and composer from Dublin, Ireland who combines personal passions, such as suburban/coastal blues, traditional musics, late 1960s & '70s singer-songwriters, jazz ambitions, 20th century composition and the Takoma school into a deeply personal style. His music boasts an orchestrated and fully instrumented sound that is playful and eerie at the same time. New band-based stuff is in the works and will be brought out here.

"Nugent smartly focuses on developing a pair of immersive environments that are continuously compelling for more than 20 minutes at a time. He nails it.”
-- Grayson Currin, Pitchfork, 7.7 rating.
