    Hi
We just got an Eircom Alarm installed last Thursday and then last night the internal siren went off twice for no reason. It sounded for a couple of seconds and then went off again. The alarm was on internal mode. I checked the panel but nothing was visible.

Then again this morning the alarm sounded again after it had been disabled for a while. Again it just went off by itself.

Anyone come across this before. Have we just got a faulty control panel.

We called Eircom but they gave some fluffy answers and said to ring again if it happens.

Its not even in a week???
Ring them back & demand a callout today or else tell them to take it out.
And don't let them chage you either. (They could vey well try)
Did you not read this forum before getting an Eircom alarm?

More than likely there is an issue with the control panel.
It should not go off like this for no reason.
Did you turn the system off to stop it ringing, if so did it give an indication of the alarm activation ?
I too would get them back out to check out the problem, especially when it is a new install.
