Loads of flooding to go with the thunder in Belfast. Just spoke to my OH (I'm enjoying a balmy evening in London, missing the big event) - he's just waded back to the car. He had to negotiate one lane traffic and had to go up on pavements to back home. The south and east of the city have been hit hard by all accounts.

Lots of reports of flooding across Belfast, lucky it didn't happen a few hours earlier with the Queen in town! Looks interesting down south over the next few hours as well, lots of strikes just offshore

Totally calm here with an odd looking bank of fog in the distance from the surface up to about 200m, more rain on the way soon.

For thunder fans best chance looks like tomorrow lunchtime.
If I had to my nail my colours to the mast I would say 12noon - 3pm, midlands regions.
Limerick / Tipp look just about right

The heavy rain to our South West that was showing on the radar earlier lost alot of its strength before reaching Waterford. Just 4.2mm falling and currently its fine.
