    There's fog at Cork Airport. I wonder what lightning looks like through fog...I've never witnessed that, though I would imagine the fog may clear with the approaching storm.

    Why are all the strikes off shore, only the rain is making it inland. Sea temp. vs land temp.? or what? :confused:

    Click on UK & Ireland top left, it's working for me, I can see them, loads over BoB.

    Its so heavy. I'm watching out my bedroom window and keep sticking my hand out to feel the force of it. I'd love a good old thunderstorm.

    Most activity is still offshore but a few strikes starting to show up in Cork and Kerry now. If the Norwegian HIRLAM is accurate with its precip prediction then it could be an interesting night/morning ahead yet

    well apparently not directly over me, but i thought it was, but i've seen 3 strikes, but no sound of thunder.

    it's kicking off here in cork, massive lighting strike, followed by another 2 and rumble of thunder.


    very glad i stayed up now :D

    I can hear thunder in the distance at times, but no lightning.

    on the northside of the city, looking towards little island direction is where i;m seeing the most flashes.
