Looks very turbulent over the airport alright.

Currently raining here now, so my look out for funnelsks being hampered.

It really does look twister like to the west of Dublin airport. All aircraft are currently making an immediate left turn after takeoff.

Saw that from the M3 at Dunboyne, big funnel shaped cloud but just lacking the stem at the base, you could really imagine it developing into a large wedge tornado if it were on Stormchasers.

Also had occassion to drive under that really mean cell that was over Kildare about 7:30 this evening, now that was a real storm chasers paradise. On approach massive tiered towering purple black clouds the likes I've rarely seen before, underneath it a huge low shelf cloud, apocalyptic rain, and a curtain of hail (which I thought was a tornado when it first caught my eye in the distance). Was just like when they punch the core on Stormchasers. Truely spectacular. No fireworks though.

In fact the cloudscape generally this evening was quite spectacular, I dont think Ive ever seen the sky so full of tower clouds (for want of a more accurate name for them)

Pretty sure I saw a funnel cloud at 16.40 could see circulation in it.

I seen one today too from my base in Collooney at approx 3.10pm ... I couldn't get pic cause it was too faint and far away for camera on phone, it was super skinny funnel but stretched so far down i could imagine that it was on the ground (behind the bloody hill that was in my way of seeing it all!!)
There was fair rotation in it, and it looked like it was getting buffeted about as it got nearer land... Out to the left there was a sheet of torrential rain, and there was a huge black cloud front around the same time.

I drove through Ballygawley at about that time and there was a cloudburst for about a mile had to stop the truck as I couldn't see, tomorrow could be interesting too!

I've noticed that when thunderstorms are moving across the county that a direction of movement between NW to N brings nothing to Dublin as the Wicklow mountains seem to suck the life out of the storms and creates a shadow effect. Would I be right in saying that due east or west movement from the Irish Sea would create the best chance of Dublin seeing any sparks from storms like these? Although I've seen quite a few that fall apart moving east as they cross the Dublin-Kildare border.

Not quite as exciting as the stratogloom here in Ireland today but some really incredible storms running up through parts of central Europe at the moment. Oh to be there right now! :(

Spinning clouds over Rathfarnham this evening. I presume this is a result of the way the airflow is coming over the mountains.

Nice site there! Similar to the one I use: http://www.chasertv.com/watch-video-streams-in-imap/. Wonder which is better?

Handy site also to watch for convective potential: http://www.wunderground.com/severeconvective.asp?outlook=today
