Has been overcast here all day, but there is a bit of a clear slot between the band of cloud right on the east coast and down through the midlands. Hopefully sun can get itself out long enough to kick something off.

UK doing Christmas Trees impressions again today. http://andvari.vedur.is/athuganir/eldingar/i_dag_na.html

Nice bit of warm sunshine here which should aid convection. Max Temp 20.7c. Plenty of showers developing in the South East.

A few cells began developing in a line between Enfield and Maynooth recently. developing very well and enlarging, according to radar and moving slowly SSE, I think. Becoming very organised now. A few other cells are popping up around Kildare in general too.

A cell appears to be popping up around Leixlip/Celbridge now....getting closer to the GDA

Looked promising there for a while but apart from a few showers nothing much happening around here.Time is against us now.Sickening to see the UK getting all the action once again..we need to increase the landmass of this Island by reclaiming land from the Irish Sea.:pac:

Hope it stays like that, heading down to Cork on Tuesday for a few days, at this rate I'll have to paddle to the main road - still coming down here
