Gardening! The weather has turned for the better so I've been out fixing the back yard up. I've planted lots of veg (to be frugal :D) and I have just stained the decking. Next up, I'm getting lights installed on the shed and over the decking for those summer evenings outside by the chiminea...

After that, I am going to build a barbeque - I just hope I dont do a homer Simpson on it!

Had a lovely canal walk from Hazelhatch to Sallins last Monday and will be doing it again. About 13km and flat - easy going. Will be doing it again. Usual exercise is walking the dog.

If this thread doesn't make exercise and enjoying the outdoors very attractive, nothing will!

Caught the 'running bug' last year after giving up playing ball. Love getting out for a run now, planning to do the Dublin Marathon later this year.

To be fair, I take any chance to get out of the house for a bit, walking the dog, bringin the kids out, just love being outdoors.

Like to do a bit of hill walking, especially if I can get down the country - like the tougher slopes so always turns into a bit of a scramble.

Nothing like a good long walk listening to my ipod, in a world of my own.

Oh I love lots of activities outdoors - playing sports with the kids, walking on the beach, picnics, hiking through woods, cycling: now all I need is the energy to go do them all! Lol!

I'm an avid kite surfer and surfer. I've been harnessing wind power long before it was popular.

Also enjoy jogging around by the sea 2 or 3 times a week.
