Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How long would horns have to be before the mart refuse to sell them. I have a few weanlings with butts of horns that i will be selling in the next few weeks. Will i need to take them off ?

As long as there aren't pointy tips on them it should be ok..

It will depend on whether or not there is a department vet/inspector in the mart on the day you sell, they can be very strict. I have seen animals with six inch pointy horns sold in my local mart when there is no vet about.

definitely.. last twice I was at the mart there were weanlings with pointy horns... Crazy stuff.. Even worse there were two animals destroyed with ringworm... makes me mad as the rest of us work hard to eliminate it...

Ringworm is no harm. It looks worse than it is.

Fair enough,it doesnt do the cattle much harm but it can spread to humans very easily and its not a lot fun then. As for the horns tho OP should be ok selling animals with butts of horns.
