Trance music club

I was just wondering if there are any trance music clubs in Dublin...kinda similar to Tressor or Watergate or Berghain in Berlin? I've heard the Vaults on a Friday...but is the Vaults still open and if so is the music there trance? I want to steer clear of poppy stuff ... many thanks in advance

The Kitchen in Temple Bar is where its at. Great Dj's in every month, including Marco V in the next few weeks. Sean Tyas and Menno De Jong were playing last week, and from what i have heard, they were amazing. Just join there Facebook page and you will be informed regularly. Do the same for Sin night club too, i seen Alex Morph in there 2 weeks ago. But Sin isnt as good/regular trance as The Kitchen.

Its drum`n`bass music. Top new man in that scene Skeptical in the twisted pepper this Friday, 23rd.

Damn can't believe I missed Menno De Jong! Fvcking Dublin is in dire need of a decent clubing website with all of the nights everywhere on it, categorised by music type. Just checked out the Kitchen Facebook page and they are hardly regular about their updates there...it seems they lash up what's going to be on that night!! Also thank the DJ a couple of nights after he's played, which is f-all use if you're trying to find out what's on while you still have time to get there for the gig!

The website is a disgrace and they don't seem to respond to emails...tres hit and miss.

Any idea whose playing there this Friday Jack?

btw I should probably also have said, that although I find the kitchen immensely frustrating to get information about what is going on there ahead of schedule, it is one of the best dance venues in town atm.

Also The Vaults are even worse! Seems like they gave up updating people on what was going on there in 2010.

Gagging for a decent Trance/tech trance/prog night out, Armin Van Buuren/A State of Trance style music...

The Vaults has shut down for now. Best way to get info about clubbing gigs well ahead of time is this little trick of checking clubs & dance section on ticketmaster site.
