Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Screw in Tyre

A friend a work kindly pointed out a large screw in my rear tyre. The tyre still has decent pressure but I don't want to drive it far.

Is there anywhere near the Dublin 8 area that repairs motorbike tyres?

Most tyre dealers will repair a motorcycle puncture.

If you're getting the tyre plugged you should be grand in any shop (but they'll probably make you plug it yourself) but not all tyre repair shops will be equipped to take a wheel off a motorbike. Not all of them will have a paddock stand to put the bike up on. Bear in mind if the tyre comes off the wheel will have to be rebalanced.

    Delaney's on Harold's Cross Bridge.
The screw should hold the air in reasonably well for a few miles at town speeds if it's pumped up reasonably well before you go.

    Scrap the cap!
