    Hey ,

    basically I put a 3.25 each way bet on Teaforthree at half 1

    (13:30 DIAMOND JUBILEE NOVICES' CHASE 4m - Teaforthree @ 11/2 (GP))

    and he won , i was expecting a pay out of 47.75 at those odds , but paddy power only gave me €28.84

    Am i being conned here , i was under the impression i'd get the money for the each way part aswell ?

    No thats the payout alright.

    3.25 each way = 2 elements

    3.25 @ 11/2 Win Element = 3.25 * 11/2 = 17.875

    + Initial Stake = 3.25

    3.25 @ 11/2 Place Element = 3.25 * 11/2 * 1/4 (This is the fraction that gets paid out no matter where in the places he finishes) = 4.47

    + Initial Stake = 3.25

    Total = 28.845

    Hope thats clears it up.

    ahh cheers , I wad using a betting calculator which was giving me the wrong figures , thanks for clearing it up
