I was told at the Naval base that, 370 were called for Interviews. 210 will go through to the Medical, and 120 will be recruited.

+1 I was told roughly the same.

Say you pass the interview and get through to the next phase which is the medical. Does this mean that once you pass the medical you're in? This is specifically for the army but I'd assume it works for the navy aswell.

    Not necessarily.

For the Eastern Brigade, they are expecting 110 to be recruited. I would expect somewhere in the region of 200 to be called for medicals as the failure rate for medicals is usually quite high.

These will also be security cleared before enlistment as well.

You could be number 200 called for medical, 130 might pass and you end up as the number 20 sub. So just because you pass the medical does not mean you will get recruited

Do the highest scorers in the interview do medicals first? or how are people separated?

Well done, I got an email saying I'll be going forward to medical this morning from the Navy at 9.06am so maybe they just sent them all out together. 6th to the 17th were the original dates which may still be going ahead but be prepared for changes just in case. Best of luck :)

I wonder how many people applied for the Navy in case they didn't get the Army....?
I would imagine there are quite a few people who are now getting called for Navy medicals but will 'jump ship' if they are called for the Army next week.....

full medical history - it is an offence contrary to Military Law to fail to disclose any medical issues that you have at this point. Will be considered to be Fraudulent Enlistment if you lie / omit / lie about any preexisting meddical issues.
After that a medic / nurse will examine eyes, ears, lungs, heart, bloods, urine, BMI
Then you get to see a doc who does a very thorough examination

Thanks for that sounds like grate fun.

Many, many people omit little details that they don't want the Medical Officer to know, and if you're smart about it, you won't be caught.

And it if you are it is an offence contrary to section 165 "General offences in relation to enlistment" of the Defence Act

It is great advice and you know it. There are many officers and enlisted men serving today who wouldn't have been disqualified had they been honest at medical time.
