Does anyone know the full story here!
I would expect that everyone who passed the interview will be given a number on a panel subject to getting through the medical. All to be called then in order of merit.
it appears that there are 3 centres (Curragh, Dublin, Cork) but could candidates be called anywhere to do their training?

I'm sure you could be called anywhere to train!! But I'm starting to have a feeling that anyone who hasn't been given a medical will be shortlisted because why would they spend money to have you get a medical when you aren't selected!!

hopefully we get a date but iv been reading through this entire thread and people that went through the same problem a few years back had the same issue

  • Registered Users Posts: 105 ✭✭Betty14

    Seen that lad!!

Yea don't worry, if you were on a panel it would say on the email because you wouldn't progress to the next stage, if you got a email saying you were successful and are awaiting a date for next stage it just means your waiting for a medical date, which are mostly being held in January so no panic

  • Registered Users Posts: 59 ✭✭jamesmack19

How could there be thousands at this stage?

  • Registered Users Posts: 105 ✭✭Betty14

Ano lad but I'd say won't be long to we hear something!! Do you know how many applied and how many would be left now

  • Registered Users Posts: 130 ✭✭rosknight

It would be interesting to find out how many were interviewed?
Does anyone know how we could get this information?

  • Registered Users Posts: 54 ✭✭Tufty_1

When i went for my fitness test in the curragh the Sarg in charge told us that just over 1,000 had applied to the curragh, I highly doubt that there's still 1,000 left but perhaps 100 or 200 odd?
