I remember reading before the new BGT series, that Cowell was aware that ratings were dropping and wanted to changed his profile from Mr Nasty. Hence Walliams on board and the the "New Simon".

All in the interest of keeping Cowell top of rich list.

But hey, Walliams is a big addition. The other girl should have stayed with Strictly.

What does everyone think of Gatis Kandis?

Cant believe he got through to the live semi-finals

It could affect the tv ratings.

I have to admit I cried laughing watching his audition, but only because it failed so badly! It's annoying how many acts are put through to the semis who have absolutely no chance of winning, because they're just a novelty. At the cost of acts who truly do have talent!

Guess it's to try to keep people watching during the semis, since most people I know admit to only watching the auditions to see people make eejits of themselves?
