Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I took this in the glasshouse at the botanical gardens. I assume the "halo" effect is due to moisture in the air - although it wasn't visible to the eye.

Take ages for them to acclimatize. unless they are in a sealed bag. Had similar problems down at Straffan butterfly farm.

Usually about 30 minutes, I did a shoot at a swimming pool and just left the gear inside for 30 minutes before the job and it was fine. Threw a big bag of silica gel in with the gear when I was finished to minimise condensation problems.

Just go to the dry warmer glasshouse first, for couple of minutes, as the first step of acclimatisation. Then go to the tropical one and again, leave the camera in the bag for fair bit of time. Bring something to read, or scout for light.
