Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Problems with Sparrow for iPhone

Hi folks, Got the new Sparrow app and love it. An issue is though it's not Checking my emas although the standard mail app is? I have pop disabled in my gmail account but still nothing regards checking it. Anyone else having this problem? I am not using push also - checks automatically every 15 minutes...

Sparrow (or indeed any third party mail application) can't poll in the background the same way that the iOS Mail app can - they don't have the background permissions to do it.

Sparrow also don't support direct Push notifications yet because they would need server side access to your mail account the way the notification system is set up currently.

WHat is sparrow and how is it applied to the iPhone specifically?

Is this an application that can be used?
