    Hi folks,

I am trying to see if there is interest in setting up a CoderDojo for Bray (http://coderdojo.com).

At the moment just in the pre-pre-plannng stage: assessing if there is sufficient interest.

I have had a few early discussions on premises, nothing firmed up yet.

I will happily mentor/lead some sessions, I have a lot of development
experience. I have forgotten entire programming languages that most of you have probably never even heard of ;)

    I've created a zen listing at http://zen.coderdojo.com/dojo/71

There is also a twitter a/c @CoderDojoBray and a Google discussion group http://groups.google.com/group/coderdojo-bray

If anyone is interested in having their kids learn coding, volunteering, mentoring, or has a good premises in mind, head on over to the http://groups.google.com/group/coderdojo-bray group or fire up the Tweet Machine.

And pass on the information to anyone you think might be interested.

    Regards
    Liam

I think it would be a good idea. I wish there was something like that when I started learning, 20 years ago! :)

Bring along one of your kids, or a cousin, or a neighbour's kid ...

    Parents/guardians have to stay anyway.
So you can learn along with them :)
