    Hi,

I would like my name and number to be removed from the phone book (ex directory).

Also, is it possible to get a second name added to the account/bills?

Can you sort this for me? Thanks

    Hi TechnoFreek,

Would you please send me with your eircom account number. Do you want to be removed from directory enquires as well as being changed to ex directory?

    - Would you like to receive sales or marketing from eircom or other telecom providers?

    - What is the name you were looking to add to the account.

    Many thanks, Mark

    Thanks Mark for sorting that.

I have another query as well please if that's ok.

Is there anything I can do to prevent getting these bogus calls from "Windows" support staff telling me that my pc is infected and needs to be scanned etc.

It really has become a nuisance. We regularly receive these calls, practically on a weekly basis. They can be early morning and late evening and they now address my wife and i by name.
It is very disconcerting and upsetting for my wife who is at home with a small baby.

Is there any way to block the numbers they are calling from?

    Please advise

    Hi TechnoFreek.

I am afraid that as these hoax calls originate from abroad there is no way to block them as they are incoming calls.

I appreciate it is very frustrating, eircom are trying to find the origin of the calls, however as I said because the originate from overseas and they may be getting customers details from something as simple as the phone book, which makes it very difficult to track the calls.

    Apologies, Mark
