Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ripping DVD to iTunes

    Hi all,
My son has a few DVD's that he likes and I want to put them into iTunes so that I can play them on the aTV (also it preserves them from him scratching them).

I know there are loads of programs out there that can do this. Can anybody give a recommendation? I don't want to have to go through three of four before I find the best one. I do have Vuze on my PC and need to see if I can use that. Has anybody used Vuze for this?

    Thanks

Are you a windows or mac user?

If you are a Mac user, Handbrake will do the trick. Its free and easy to use.

EDIT; Just re-read you said PC. Sorry cant help! :(

Handbrake does work on the pc. It has a slightly different interface, but the engine is the same.

Depends on your machine but pencil in an hour at least. Apparently it's why the icon is of a cocktail. You are supposed to set it running and pour yourself and drink a cocktail. Geeks.
