Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

With UFC 146 seemingly being touted as an all heavyweight affair even though there are some excellent lighter guys being touted for that event too. Does anybody else think that it would be cool to try out events where all the fights are from the same division. I think it brings more substance to something like the rankings where say Anthony Pettis already fought and he could be Number 1, but Frankie is getting a rematch and Diaz and Miller still have to fight. If all these fights took place on the one night it may ease up scheduling a little bit. It's great to see different weight classes of course but I think it would be interesting and would love to see the UFC ( or any other company! ) give it a shot.

In theory it's not a bad idea but trying to get all the guys in one division fit and healthy at the same time might be a bit of a problem.
Plus I like th idea of varied fight cards. You can see everything from 2 lighter guys going at it in a lightening fast battle, to a heavyweight war all on the same night.
It might be nice for a change every now and then but I can't see it working on a long term basis.

I prefer the regular varied card, but the odd one (maybe once/twice a year) is fine IMO

146 is a heavyweight event as the introduction of some the the SF guys means there is suddenly a deeper divisions with some fighters entering straight into the top 5/10.

It won't work as a repeated way of structuring the events imo. And its not something that they would consider imo
