    Just had 2 Army vehicles went past my house . Both were escorted by garda outriders. Any one hear of anything ?

    the vehicles drove out of Willow Wood estate ( Consists of willow wood downs, Willow wood grove, Willow wood drive, Willow wood Park,Willow wood green and Willow wood view). A Garda from Blanch later rang the front doorbell and asked if I had a cctv or had I noticed anything last night. heard nothing on the news

    Alother of Garda activity last night around willow wood. Shot fired in window of house on the grove . Following on from the two separate pipe bombs in the area on 16th march and 6th April things are really out of control.

    Just come back home from a school run and there's a large Garda presence on Willow Wood Grove, and a pretty massive Army Truck horizontal across the road blocking it completely on the Grove, couldn't see if it was before or after the turn off to the View as I was heading into the Willows and didn't linger at all.

    The size of the Army truck and the way it was blocking the whole road makes me suspect bomb squad :( Its so quiet here in the Willows day to day usually, that it made for a very unnerving sight. TBH I'd never heard of whatever trouble is ongoing around there apart from this thread - but whatever it is, its still onoing.

    Seen this aswell earlier flying down the Hartstown Road,around 6 speedies,3 SB cars and a huge Green Van,I was wondering what the story was...I thought it was somebody leaving the courts but was wondering why they were taking that route

    Any updates?

    I came straight home and have stayed in since, not a smart time to be rubber necking, haven't seen or heard a peep from where we are in the Willows. I've two young kids here with me and I've a right bump on me with no3 on the way, so I won't be venturing around for another look.

    I never hear of any of this in the mainstream media (though I don't read the redtops) and without the old Community Voice there's very limited ways of picking up info about this sort of local issue.

    Edit:
    Just home from picking up himself - all seemed normal when passing the junction of Willows Road and Willow Wood Grove, like nothing happened.
