Why does Blanchardstown not have a Saint Patrick's day parade? Surely we have enough Irish dancers and karate clubs to include.
Who organises the parades in other towns?
    I've always wondered

But there are parades in Tallaght and Lucan, Blanch is no closer to the city centre than Tallaght

Actually it is, by about a mile. But that's getting pernickety. I don't see why Blanchardstown can't have a parade but it would need the backing of a body like the Dublin 15 Chamber of Commerce.

How many other Dublin suburbs hold St. Patrick's day parades apart from Tallaght and Lucan? Does Dun Laoghaire hold one? What about Dundrum?

wasnt there a parade of sorts a good few years ago?

The only way Blanch will get a parade is if a good few interested people get together and organise it.
